"the magnificent steiner", the title of the band's debut album, is taken from the character Wolfgang Grimmer from Naoki Urasawa's manga, "MONSTER". It is a reference to the different sides that exist within a person's subconscious, a reflection of the multifaceted approach to songwriting that went into the album.

"the magnificent steiner" boasts a quality list of guest artists including well-established names in the Japanese shoegaze scene such as SHOKO (COLLAPSE), eureka (Ferri-Chrome and ex-For Tracy Hyde), and Hata Yusuke (cruyff in the bedroom). The album also features a cover of "everything about my precious you", by fan-favorites RAY.

the deep sleepはConcrete TwinやAiZA、MIRAなどで活動していたMichaelによるソロ・プロジェクト。

『the magnificent steiner』はその1stアルバムで、アルバム・タイトルは浦沢直樹の漫画『MONSTER』に登場するキャラクター、ヴォルフガング・グリマーの別名から取られています。

the terminal stageのニイオカヨシキがサポート・ドラムやマスタリング&ミキシングを担当し、ゲストにeureka(Ferri-Chrome)、SHOKO(COLLAPSE)、水槽とクレマチス、hajime(yukue)、Mochinaga(Fall of Tears)らがヴォーカルを、M-3「they said you were here」のギターにはcruyff in the bedroomのハタユウスケが参加。

また、M-9「everything about my precious you」ではRAYのカバー曲を披露。

本作は、人が無意識のうちに持つ可能性のある、様々な感情の側面を楽曲で描写しています。
